Meet Jim Trowbridge
Jim Trowbridge founded the Trowbridge Energy Group (formerly JDT & Associates, LLC) in 2007, soon after he left DHL Express. Jim had a distinguished 23-year career with DHL and that experience inspired him to start his own business in the Energy Sector. Jim brings his executive business knowledge, large scale project management, and business partner development into this important business sector. He quickly transitioned his passion for excellence working with both small and large businesses.
He has managed projects for school districts, a nuclear power plant, steel manufacturing plants and small projects like the neighborhood diner and auto repair shops. He has identified key areas that make up 80% of a company’s energy spend. When those areas are illuminated, Jim's expertise and partnerships create the savings that all businesses are hungry for. Jim’s focus is to help businesses lower their energy footprint and save money with the best solutions around. He has over a thirty-five-year track record in supporting his customers and providing the best service bar none. Jim is driven to find savings and efficiencies for all of his clients.
Personal
Jim is an active member at his local church and serving the community through various outreach programs. Jim has been involved with coaching lacrosse with various youth lacrosse programs over the years and is currently splitting duties as a Head Men’s HS Lacrosse Coach and volunteer lacrosse Assistant Coach at the university level. Jim graduated from Syracuse University earning a BS in Marketing and Transportation & Distribution Management. Jim was a member of Syracuse’s first National Championship Lacrosse Team in 1983. He later earned his MBA at Dowling College, Long Island, New York.
